I have gotten botox and was overall pleased with the results. I think it really comes down to what you are wanting to improve/correct and your expectations. Botox is temporary. It lasts anywhere from 2 to 6 months. Most people once they start they get it 2 or more times a year to maintain their corrections but it will not stop the aging process.

How far in advance do I need to book?
choofleur replied to sera's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I really want there to be a poll or something of people that have gone to Korea without securing the surgery date by paying the deposit because clinics always use that as a tactic to persuade people into putting down a deposit, but then some people on the forum have said that they end up moving local patients around just to fit the international ones in? Some have also had to do another trip because they couldn't fit them in which is worse case scenario so I'm curious about the actual stats -
Is 1mm Plastic Surgery legit?
choofleur replied to kpopkelly's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I went to 1mm for ptosis correction and DES but this was ages ago in 2022, unfortunately they came out a tinsey bit uneven, but the scar is basically invisible and the ptosis correction is good so I probably won't touch them again. -
Wow thank you so much for the 3 year update! I think the eye results are absolutely fantastic! Would you say that the fat grating results have changed at all now that we're 5 years along? I'm looking to get that done along with the undereye fat repositioning but a lot of people are saying that sometimes only some of the grafted fat survives?

That is a good amount of time for a surgery like this. You have time to recovery and then some. If I were you, I would get in touch with some doctors in the area you will be in and explain your issue and see what they offer in terms of solutions. Some doctors will offer different surgery options than others.

I tried botox once when I was 29 I believe. I will be honest with you, at that age it did not make much of a difference. I think I looked fine until I make expressions and it came off... odd. I feel like botox is best for 35 or even 40+ in age. It doesn't last very long either and I think overdoing it when you are still young ends up causing more damage and aging long-term.

You'd be surprised by the number of people that know English in South Korea. The only other place I had gone where more people know English than not was the Philippines. It is very common for other nations, especially in areas where a lot of foreigners travel to, to have more people that speak English. It is good for business

I have had a lot of hair loss in the last 10 years. I would say 50% of my hair has thinned out. My part line is wide, my temples are bald, and my overall thickness is sad. I was looking into options that work for women as a lot of docs do not recommend hair transplants for women due to the nature of female pattern balding. I asked someone on another forum and she suggested looking into scalp stem cell treatments. I found a few local clinics that do offer it but it is $15,000 per session and most people seem to need 2 or 3 minimum. I cannot afford that! I was expecting it to be under $10,000 for multiple sessions Is this something I can get done in South Korea for less? I am not sure if they offer stem cell treatments like this or not.

Hey everyone, I’ve been noticing some early fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes lately (probably stress + screen time ), and I’ve started looking into anti-wrinkle treatments. I came across this page while researching: https://gafhealthcare.in/treatments/anti-wrinkle-treatment It explains things quite simply — especially how treatments like Botox work by relaxing facial muscles so the wrinkles soften over time. From what I read, it’s a non-surgical option and results usually start showing within a few days and can last a few months. What I’m trying to understand is: Is it worth starting early (late 20s / early 30s)? Does it look natural or “frozen”? How often do you actually need to maintain it? If anyone here has personal experience (good or bad), I’d really appreciate honest feedback before I take a decision. Thanks in advance

Hello from Italy, I need some help!

Usually in Korea, you will find their prices match the averages you can find online. They are a lot cheaper than other countries and people have easier access to them. That being said, you will need to work with a clinic and doctor to get an exact cost breakdown and estimate. While you can get averages online, not everyone has the same surgical needs. -
How much a night are you looking to spend? The best ones are $500+ in my experience but that adds up fast if you are staying 2 weeks or longer. The best "cheap" one I have stayed in personally was the Hotel Newv. At the time, I was able to book it for $112 a night. I wouldn't even say it is cheap as the quality of everything in my room, the service, food, etc. was amazing. I guess cheap is usually $80 or less a night.

One of my eyes droops or sits lower on my face than the other. I am not sure why. I noticed this when I was younger but as I have gotten older, it is far more noticeable and it is very frustrating. I can use make-up to make it less noticeable but I want to find a fix for it. I will be in Korea for work in August for 6 weeks. I would love to be able to get something done whilst there. Anyone know what sort of surgery or correction I should look into for this?

Yes, the clinic I am booked with did everything online. I was given an estimate with an average cost plus low and high end costs so I could plan to have more if needed. I don'e know the rules of posting about clinics directly on the forum, I will DM you the clinic and you can contact them if you'd like.
