It really depends. Some people have TONS of swelling but others have hardly anything. You will have bruising but it will be covered by bandages. Someone I work with got her nose done a few years ago and she came to work the following week and she just looked like she got punched. Her face was bruised but hardly any swelling and she felt fine for the most part. No one really thought anything of it.

Is reducing arm fat a simple surgery?
calmwaters replied to justzoe's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I know there are tons of horror stories with plastic surgery gone wrong online but Korea is like the world hub for plastic surgeries and they have some of the best doctors in the world. I would argue they have the highest percentage of them in one location. - Yesterday

I am booked for my surgery for the end of June. I have my hotel and everything. I will be heading to South Korea on the 23rd and my surgery day is the 25th. I gave myself a few days to settle in. I am a bit concerned though that I will be spending most of the time there in a hotel because of swelling. I have heard people say some are worse than others but I also see so many people exploring the city they are in after surgery. Won't I look like a mess? LOL

Best Hotels in Gangnam District in Seoul?
alisaw replied to SueChic12's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I usually just check on Trip Advisor and other similar sites for stuff like this as you get mostly real reviews from real people. According to them, GLAD Gangnam COEX Center is the best but I would imagine it is a more expensive one by the looks of it! -
A friend had lipo for love handles done and she said it was the most expensive lipo at the clinic she went to. This was in Canada. I am not sure what makes that one of the more expensive ones there but not in Korea. Maybe the tools and methods they use?

Will I need medical history with me?
alisaw replied to alisaw's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
That is a good point. I will make sure I have digital copies of everything so I can just e-mail them to the clinic. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for pointing that out! - Last week

I heard great things of the V-Beam for rosacea. I think it is for broken blood vessels and redness. A friend of a friend got this done in Korea and her skin looks completely different now. Not sure how long it lasts or what not. They do have a lot of k-beauty brands and lines for redness too. You can check on amazon.

Skin burn/scars correction clinic in Korea
LillyD86 replied to glowyyy's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Oh there are clinics that specialize in this kind of treatment? I had no idea. That would probably make them better than most clinics! -
Back fat removal?
LillyD86 replied to diannab63's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I must have had the wrong information. Thanks for pointing that out. I did look it up again and you are right, they are cheaper on average in Korea. I guess that makes sense considering everything else is plastic surgery wise. -
Back fat removal?
EveRose replied to diannab63's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
My sister got lipo. Not in Korea but in the states. She found out the cost differences after the fact. She paid $12,000 in 2019 and the same work would have cost her $8,500 in Korea to give you an idea. -
Treatment options for Rosacea in Korea?
LupinBB81 replied to tikicat76's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I know, I just want to make sure people know all their options as laser costs and other options like this can add up fast. It is not always ideal to travel that far to get treatment either.
