You can send me private messages on this site. I check in from time to time. Both I and a male Chinese friend in our 50s had revision incision DES with ptosis correction with Dr Seo at MVP and can highly recommend him for complex revision eyelid surgery as well as primary.

 

Hi @Pakune, from the price you got quoted, it is still very high and so I think you will be fine. Just write on the consent form, only Dr Oh Myung June and also when you see Dr Oh also ask him to ensure he does it himself.

 

Hi @Pakune, after my long consult with Dr Oh who reviews your x rays and shows you photos of b&a patients with similar faces to yours and his lengthy explanation as to why his technique for zygoma reduction does not lead to skin sagging, the consultant then takes you to a separate room to negotiate a price with you and 2 years ago started at 10 million won with me. The price dropped if I wrote a review and let them use my photos. The problem is if you bargain too much, you may not get Dr Oh himself as he has a minimum price he would drop to for his work. I was told that if I wanted Dr Oh himself it would be 1,000,000 won more than another doctor but still less than 10 million won if I wrote a review. This suggests there are other surgeons who also do facial contouring at Regen. If you choose Regen, make sure you pay for Dr Oh himself.

 

Hi @Mazikeen, I can only comment on Dr Lee’s zygoma reduction on a US Chinese patient I have seen many informal photos of before and after without makeup. He is known for facial contouring. For facial fat graft I would recommend Dr Seo at MVP who did mine and Dr Hong at Fresh who did a Brit Chinese Male friend of mine and I met in person.

 

Hi @Pakune, skip GNG. I met 2 girls in Korea who had v lines at GNG and the results were barely noticeable as so little was removed. Add Girin to your list. I saw a fab result on a lady my age who now has a 12.7 cm width CD face! Good luck! And I would be torn between Dr Oh at Regen and Girin who only has one doctor who does the FC surgery.

 

@touni27 looks like you got local Korean prices for revision des. I wish I could speak fluent Korean but am still studying to get better discounts! Lol. How much was your FC? Could you post b&a photos with any identifying features blurred perhaps? I am glad you got more details on skin sagging after zygoma reduction as I was contemplating needing the 45 degree part reduced but had no idea it causes worsening of the nasolabial folds! Thanks for this. Well done on what sounds like successful research and operations in Korea.

 

@villacola10 thank you for this video! Wow! Some tpfers got stung at april31 when they thought they were getting Dr Kim, the head rhino surgeon but ended up with a less than satisfactory result and another surgeon visited them postop which suggested a doctor swap in theatre. April31 is on my black list. A native Korean had posted in this forum how this hospital is mostly targeted at foreigners as local Koreans go elsewhere. And I was communicating with Mia, a Vietnamese Canadian who paid a fortune for revision rhino at GNG and was devastated by her results. I still have her postop photo as a reminder. GNG also used shills and I know the names of some of their fake profiles on Tpf. Again GNG is another one on my blacklist. Dr Hong is the only good surgeon at rhino at GNG but when you book him, they may try to swap you with another surgeon saying he does not do revisions which is not entirely true as a lady from California got a lovely revision with Dr Hong and showed me her postop photo. Sigh. It can be a minefield!

 

Hi @Wilsonteh90 I agree with posters that a clean shaven look would be better, no moustache, no beard, get a modern haircut, get your brows groomed professionally, wear fitted clothes, and tone up. In the photo where you lost the most weight, you looked good but your baggy clothes distracted from your face. Look up your favourite male k stars and try to copy their fashion sense and hairstyle. And keep working on toning your body. Fighting!

 

Thank you @cleanderella for your quick reply. Yes I am shocked at how many fake accounts were created on this site by this one clinic employee. I know of a few additional accounts that are fake and created by another clinic employee. In Korea they can sue if a patient leaves negative feedback which means those that do are our heroes for speaking out despite the pressure to be silenced. For me a red flag is when the price is over inflated. View quoted me almost 30 million won for facial contouring and facelift needed if I got any facial contouring procedure. Looking at my face, I don’t need anything. Shocking to see how clinic consultants get commission on how much PS they can get a punter to book by feeding on their insecurities. My advice is to ask 10 friends or family members in person if you need a certain procedure and if they say no, don’t. I can’t even trust my phone to take accurate photos with its built in focal lens not at the portrait setting.

I know Nadine posted her botched April31 rhino result on this site but she never posted again after December of 2018. Has she really passed? I am in shock if this is true.

 

Hi @honeycrush I see you have dyed your hair too. Looks fab. Have you looked at eyebrow tattooing? In the UK it costs a lot ie £495 but in korea it is around $200. How much is it in Washington? From your b+a photos, eyebrow tattoo would enhance your new eyes. Just a thought.

 

@rosyisgone and @Trishsul after 3 fgs at DA in 2016 and 2017 that overfilled my cheeks and distorted my face, I resorted to drastic weight loss from 102 lbs to 96 lbs to lose the fg. Then in Feb 2018 I saw Dr Seo at mvp for full face fg. He fixed my face and gave me back my beauty. It is Oct 2019 and the fg is stable and perfect. I didn't even need a top up and now keep well hydrated, avoid msg and fatty foods for maintenance. If you read my thread you can see how I went from beautiful with mvp to ugly after DA fgs reabsorbed in different places to beautiful again with mvp. MVP full face fgs are around 2.5 mill won so are affordable and imo Dr Seo is an artist at fg.

 

@FieryCucumber Dr Seo is a board certified plastic surgeon at MVP clinic who performed my full face fg Feb 2018 and it still looks great. He is much cheaper than Dr Hong who is not board certified in plastic surgery.

 

Hi @Wilsonteh90 here is what I mean about losing weight and you don’t need to lose as much as this man did (see photo). You remind me of an older version of one of my fav Korean child actors Kanghoon Juwon (see photo). You could be his older brother! If you needed ps I would be honest and tell you but you do not and that is the truth. To lose weight easily, swap all sugar drinks for water, black coffee and green tea. Reduce alcohol while dieting. Fill up on fruit. Choose low calorie options like whole wheat spaghetti and pesto sauce. Rice is caloric. And walking is exercise! If you can add stairs then do. I lost 5 lbs and my face width went down from 15 cms width to 14 cms width! So you don’t need to lose lots to start seeing a change!

 

Hi @Wilsonteh90 welcome to tpf! Firstly you have a really warm and friendly smile and a sensitive soul which is why bad people are drawn to you to try to feed off your pain. You can’t control others but you can control you and that means get far away from the bad crowd. At this point, all you need to do is concentrate on diet and exercise. Even if you spent $1000 on a personal trainer to transform you this would be a much better investment than commencing ps before you have reached your ideal weight. Your face will naturally transform as you lose weight. And then take close up photos for assessment as to whether ps is needed. Please be careful with rushing into ps as big clinics are all too eager to take your $30k and do bone contouring surgery and rhinoplasty and if things don’t work out you are out $30k. Although that said bone contouring surgery may make you lose weight on a liquid diet for several weeks! Best to lose weight naturally and then reassess. Hope this helps. I was like you back in November 2013 and sent my photos to BK and ID hospital. ID suggested 32 million won of surgery...2 jaw, v line and zygoma reduction. Needless to say I did none of this and followed BK’s advice to just get facial fat grafting and remove the upper lip filler/scar tissue which I did 3 years later with other clinics. Always ask for lots of opinions like you are doing here and I think the consensus is just exercise, eat healthy and you do not need ps from the photo you have sent. Personally I see a very handsome face that will emerge once you lose weight like I did too.

 

@honeycrush wow you flew from Washington to Seoul! I visited Seattle last month. Your Korean aunt must have been a tough ajumma negotiator! That price you paid is super low! I hope Dr Seo did not mind as he really is the best. You write really well. Enjoyed reading your account and love your b&a photos! Love seeing Dr Seo work his magic on eyes! Mine are still looking fab at 3.5 years on! Well done on choosing the best and most reasonable for des in Seoul! You are now a Seo Angel too!
