Has anyone had a facelift after cheekbone and jaw reduction? Is a full SMAS necessarily? I would like to lift the malar fat pad over the cheekbones. If anyone have an recommendation for a good facelift surgeon please message me privately or in the forum. I'm really desperate. Thank you....

That girl above had a model face. She could've been signed to an modeling agency...even though she still cute i think it was mistake for her to have facial surgery just like it was for me.

 

I'm so happy that you cancelled. You def don't need it. I jut wish i done my research a few years back before i ruined my life. Our facial structure will change as we age and reducing the zygoma will give you a shapeless face and also accelerate the aging process. My beauty and structured face is ruined all bc of a selfish greedy doctor. My life has take . diff road of depression and stress. All for money.

 

I dont think you should do it but it ultimately is your choice. However, after receivering so much info from our personal experience you decide to trust a doctor who has an ulterior motive and will tell you what you wanna hear. People will do what they wanna do and can’t see their own beauty due to their dysphoria.

THey are just trying to scare you. They can’t sue you as long as you post reviews based on facts and not defamation or slander. I think you already saw the post on the Chinese diary forum where a girl from China was also botched by gng. You can print her review and photos of this ever went to court. I mean-you have ct scan of the damages. I don’t think gng have a chance in winning.

I can't share the name of the surgeon due to documents signed. Anyone who gets surgery makes sure to read every single document. I was handed a bunch of papers 5 minutes before going into the OR. I will say the surgeon i went to is not in korea.

i have no choice-i have to tape the skin upward to look normal until i can find a perm solution. I don't know what i was thinking doing this surgery- i guess all this korean ads on cheekbone and jaw reduction really got to my head. I still can't believe i got rid of my high cheekbones and define jawline and traded this in. It's been very difficult for me physically and psychologically and dealing with the judgements makes me even more depressed and hurt. I wish there was a way to go back, I hope people reconsider this procedure- Sometimes all you need is botox for jaw and weight loss-not facial bone reduction. I hope my mistake can save someone else the heartbreak. Please pray for me.

I think those who didn’t believe are either in denial bc they desperately want to believe this surgery works or nude to the fact that they are promoters desperately trying to convince the public that zygoma and jaw reduction doesn’t cause sagging or other issues.

I’m currently trying to figure out a way to sculpt my skin back up. I’m wondering if a facelift would work for me bc right now I’m using facelift tape to hold my skin upwards.

 

I’ve been trying to warm you guys about skin sagging and the danger of cheekbone and jaw reduction- yet, people don’t listen and continue to go for this procedure. This surgery bought my nothing but pain and depression and insults on a daily basis. It’s true, your muscle and skin will just fall rather then sculpted up. It’s a complete nightmare. I’m young but I’ll need a full facelift.

 

Did Maurice khosh mentioned using a bone graft to push out your zygoma?

 

You mean droopy on top or side? After my zygoma was reduced the skin on the side of my eyes moved down. No longer lifted up by my cheekbones.

 

I know surgeons down play this but yes. Sagging with happen 100% of the time. I’ve seen it happen to several girls who had this done and all of them regretted it. However a lot of fake reviews and photos are out there to counter this argument bc surgery clinic are trying to lure in patients.

 

How long does a facelift last on someone fairly young who has soft tissue laxity from cheekbone and jaw reduction surgery? Will it look good for a year but laxity comes back again? WIll it distort other features of the face such as the mouth nose and eyes?

Any feedback and advice would be appreciated.

 

It would be helpful if you post a clear photo in daylight, 6 inches away from the camera, hair in ponytail to show your results. Even though my procedure turned out horribly i'm able to take a decent photo that can be very deceiving. I wish people know that no matter what technique is used, facial bone contouring will always cause sagging, If you think a facelift will solve your issues you have another thing coming. I would rather live with a wider face and conceal it with my hair. Cheekbone reduction does not reduce the width of the face-it just destroys the outer contour/facial line and eaves you with no structure.

 

Did they have to remove s peice of bone for your zygoma reduction

I have consulted with other surgeons who mentioned the jaw was overly shaved aggressively. The zygoma was also done incorrectly leaving me with huge gaps-Which left me with weak facial structure and sagging. Basically my face is lopsided.

There are surgeons out there who went through medical school and training that had left patient botched. I think it’s important for patients to do their research and speak to others who had these surgery done before taking everything their surgeons say as gospel. Until you go through what I have mentally from this surgery and how I was treated on a daily basis then it’s hard for you to understand.
