Looking for information on genioplasty
caseyjones replied to cyndabeale's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
ID Hospital, Girin Plastic, VG Plastic to name a few all show they have a focus on jaw and chin work. These ones were at the top rating higher. There are others but they don't have as many reviews. I will say that the oldest clinic of the three appears to be 11 years old. A lot of clinics I find to be under 10 years old as the growing market and trends for plastic surgery have evolved a lot in South Korea in more recent years. -
Most of the bigger clinics offer breast surgeries. Not all of them offer reduction mammaplasty however, that is the difference. I am not surprised they have a marketplace for enhancements in Korea. Something I learned the other day is that the global average for breast size is only a large A cup to small B cup. I think here in America, I am just used to seeing larger breasted women because of all the surgeries and women being heavier. Larger women tend to have larger breasts. The more you know! haha

The face dental

I have seen them mentioned online a few times, in YouTube videos. I believe there was a woman I was watching that went to their clinic but this was awhile ago. If I can come across the video again I will post it here for anyone that is curious. -
It looks like she got her lips and eyes done as well. This looks like two different people and the version of her on the left is way more beautiful. How sad! I don't see anyone looking like this out of Korea. Like in the plastic surgery reviews or groups. They don't remove that much fat because it makes you not only look older but more masculine. Korean women want to appear soft and doll-like.

Have you looked into POP Plastic? The clinics entire philosophy is centered on enhancing a patient's natural beauty rather than applying generic templates or following fleeting beauty trends. So they work with you to enhance your natural features for a more realistic and long-standing result. Most plastic clinics seem to follow trends which is why you will see in the west, everyone that gets a certain level of work ends up all looking the same.

Looking into oral and maxillofacial

For anyone wondering... EverM Dental Clinic does under-bite work and things for protruding lips. V-line and jaw reduction as well. They are a great clinic for the right surgeries. -
Treatment options for Rosacea in Korea?
caseyjones replied to tikicat76's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Laser treatment for rosacea requires multiple treatments. I think something like 3 or 4 minimum and you have to avoid direct sunlight. I don't think this would be a good thing to go to Korea for unless you planned on doing an extended stay. -
Options for zygoma reduction in Korea?
caseyjones replied to LillyD86's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
Have you been to a local doc to find out what exactly you need to have done to get the look you want? Sometimes it helps! I have heard of this as being a solid tip for foreigners looking for work in Korea as it not only helps them know what to ask their doctors, but it allows their doctors to be better informed with exactly what you want. -
Do you have to go back after surgery?
caseyjones replied to glowyyy's topic in KOREAN PLASTIC SURGERY (NEW! ACTIVE FORUM)
I was actually curious about this and spoke to people that had gone to Korea a few times for surgeries. Not a single one had to go back for the same surgery. They elected to go back for follow-up work to complete a look but it was not necessary to do so. -
I am hoping I can find an option here for this. I looked into local options and they are too costly or don't offer the results I want. Basically, I had fairly bad hormonal acne for 10 or so years. It happens around my mouth and chin. Now I have dark patches of skin that makes it look like I have a mustache and beard. Anyone I ask says I am being silly and maybe I do notice it more than others but it drives me nuts. I tried creams and serums, nothing has helped. I heard there are options from plastic surgery clinics, things like laser treatment that could actually help. Anyone know about this? Anyone with personal experience?

I am booked for my surgery for the end of June. I have my hotel and everything. I will be heading to South Korea on the 23rd and my surgery day is the 25th. I gave myself a few days to settle in. I am a bit concerned though that I will be spending most of the time there in a hotel because of swelling. I have heard people say some are worse than others but I also see so many people exploring the city they are in after surgery. Won't I look like a mess? LOL
