hausofseoul Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 Has anyone else gone down the rabbit hole of Asian beauty clinics? What tripped you up? Hi, I'm Korean and I was wondering if I could help people book their beauty trips to Korea. I know how confusing it could be to navigate in a foreign country, making sure the clinics are reputable and that they're not taking advantage of you because you're foreign. here's what I'm planning so far: Personalized clinic matching based on your goals and budget Help with travel arrangements (hotels, transport, etc.) Access to virtual consultations before you travel Language support for the entire trip, including post-op care I’m collecting feedback and early interest —also there's this if you want to keep posted or join the pilot! I'm looking to chat with people about their rhino experiences as that's what I'd like to do! My id is yoochanghyun! Quote
ethansmithjim Posted yesterday at 10:25 AM Posted yesterday at 10:25 AM It’s really interesting how these Kakao groups have become such a big part of how people explore and share experiences with Korean plastic surgery, but it also shows how careful you have to be with advice that isn’t from qualified professionals. Hearing real patient experiences can be helpful, but everyone’s anatomy and expectations are different, so take everything with a grain of salt and ask questions about safety and qualifications. I’ve seen similar conversations around visagesculpture about balancing online info with actual medical guidance, and it really comes down to doing your own research and feeling comfortable with your choices. Did anyone here ever follow up advice from one of those groups with a proper consultation first? Quote
ethansmithjim Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Kakao chat groups can be helpful for firsthand experiences, but it’s important to stay cautious since advice there isn’t always balanced or medically sound. I’ve seen people benefit more when they use those groups only as a starting point and then verify everything directly with licensed professionals. For anyone hesitant about surgery, non-surgical options like those offered at mesolyft can be a good way to explore aesthetic improvements with less commitment. Have you found the groups useful for research, or do they mostly leave you with more questions? Quote
