pkoko
Dear all, I am newbie in this forum. Just wondering do you really have ptosis when you perform ptosis surgery or just because you personally feel that your eyes are droopy? I raise this question because I feel that I look sleepy, tired coz of my droopy eyes. I used to consult two well-known ophthalmologists (eye specialist doctor) in my country. After they measured my eyeballs and upper eyelids by ruler and their professional tools, both of them said I only have minor ptosis on my left eyelid. They didn’t suggest me to do ptosis correction surgery or if I really want to do, I only need to perform on left eye. However, when I consulted PS clinic, dr suggested me to do incisional + ptosis + fat removal. I am confused that PS surgeon and eye doctor told me the different things. If I decide to do ptosis surgery, should it be performed by PS or eye specialist doctor? Also did anyone do or consider doing eyelid surgery in Taiwan? Price in Taiwan is just 50% of Korean price and I saw some nice before/after photos from Taiwanese website.

joey90
Hi, I'm planning to go to Teuim for the same procedures as well (Ptosis, double eyelids and bleph.) .. I was quoted the same 3.4million won as well. So I am trying to find out the actual amount that people here paid from the same clinic... If you have done the same procedures at Teuim, please let me know your discounted price! Thank you!

joey90
mongolian fold refers to the skin fold of the upper eyelid, covering the inner corner (medial canthus) of the eye (source wiki). the surgery to remove that fold is Epicanthoplasty,

gernic
Hi dmhdd, Did you manage to negotiate the price with him? 4 million seems expensive. Do share which other clinics you went as I will be going in 2 weeks time and seeing Dr Kwon too..Not sure which other clinics to consult? So far I have got the lowest quote from Chungdam Cozy ..www.cozy.co.kr..but they don't have English staff..their website only in Korean and Chinese. mrsking
dmhdd, did the clinic give you any pills or ointment for deswelling? If not, did you bring any Arnica and/or Bromelain with you for post op care? Or you can get the pumpkin juice/powder there. Don't panic, swelling should go down gradually tho at different pace for different ppl.
