K Couture's guide to seoul plastic surgery

@ Peachmelove,

My sister went for a mid facelift procedure with acculift TO COMPLIMENT the procedure, not acculift alone. So her face is still swollen now. Much reduced and going downwards ( all swelling moving downwards as they deswell). But i could tell from the start when her swelling has not gone down that her double chin is gone.

because i don't have experience with acculift alone , I don't know if it will give a drastic slimmer affect or not. Hers only has one entry point.

But if you are interested on improving your lower jawl area, i think there will be two entry point from either side of you lower cheek near you mouth area. (i know this because she was considering acculift to lift her lower jawl area but then decided to just do a thorough job that will last longer. Her lower jawl area was very saggy, her lower cheek muscles were strong, thick and drooy, the doctor said that acculift alone won't help )

my sister new slimmer jaw is done from her mid facelift , not acculift.
Her acculift helped to eliminate her saggy double chin.

hope it helps! :smile:

@wishingstar

her scar is very minimal. only one stitch so hardy noticeable and it is under the chin. Unless you look up and scrutanize it , you will notice it, otherwise it's only a red marking from the post stitching removal. no keloids , and it should fade over time.

hope that helps! :smile:

Actually a friend of mine who is accompanying me to Korea soon was interested in getting a facelift and fat grafting so after your post I thought I inform her about your post. Is your sister happy with her results? I checked their website but they don't have a lot of b&a pictures so it's kinda hard to see their work. But I have have to give them credit since it seems they don't advertise themselves like other clinics do rather they focus more on the surgical aspect of it if you know what I mean. How are your results? I think I might want to schedule a consultation with them.

Hi Peach!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Do you have a kakao id? I'm interested in consulting with Dr Park for a nose revision also. I have few questions and notice that you cannot receive private messages on purse forum yet.

@ddphan

We are very happy with the results. I am very happy with the clinic's counsellor (Daphne Wu). Let me know if you need help with getting in touch with her prior to coming to Dream Clinic

If you know what you want already, you can get a rough quotation from Daphne, but of course you need to see the specialist before you know your final price before start bargaining.

And if you are confirmed with Dream, you just need to wire tt them 1 million KW, they arrange doctor appointment ( so you don't wait), hotel booking, airport pick up and drop off (FOC), post op care pick up drop off (FOC).

Oh if you ever decide to choose Dream, they accept wire transfer. The 1 million won is just a down payment. If you wire transfer and decided to do a cheaper procedure, they will refund the extra wire tt .
This is just extra i want to share with you since i am very happy with Dream . Lol ... i better show this to Daphey and Dr Park and get a deep discount at my next visit at Dream.:P

anyway back to your question on our results..

My sister is happy with her facelift and acculift. She is still swollen , mostly residual swelling which takes up to 3-4months depending on each individual. One think I must say, the Anti ageing specialist, Dr. Jo Yong Woo did an excellent job. My sister's pre-op saggy bulldog (...lol) lower cheeks are now very much tighten (naturally) and her jaw is now V shape.

Her acculift also improve her saggy double chin a lot! no more saggy lower face. :yahoo:

Procedures I did:
1.I had my double eyelid revision (SUTURE METHOD) and ptosis correction (SUTURE as well)
(it's been 10years and started to droop).

Result: So far happy with the result. There is a bit of asymmetry on the eye muscle elevator (one eye look a bit lazy after the ptosis corrention) , but I consulted with KCouture , it should improve with time when the residual swelling is gone and the muscles memory regains itself to synch one another.

2. Rhino augmentation, tip plasty ( septal extension graft and ear cartilage) revision ( i did a close tip plasty 10 years ago and was seeking to improve the shape because the old technique did not allow max tip projection)

Result: quite happy. i will have to update this forum again when the residual swelling is gone and when i can see the final result. there is a little bit on asymmetry residual swelling that makes my nose look slightly deviated ( i have a natural mild deviation anyway), but i can see the tip shape is shaping up beautifully. (again thanks to K for disarming my panic phyco over analysing phase, i think my vanity mirror is cracking .. lol)

hope this helps! :smile:

note: as K often said, do your research , visit the clinic and meet the docs. I am happy with Dream , but you may feel more at east with other specialist at other clinic . But i can tell for sure this Dream is not a dodgy one

Hi K...

Here are my daily day# 17 post-op questions .. :shame:

1. I am starting my Pilates regime tomorrow. I won't do inverted movements yet. But is making all sorts of facial expressions safe? (after several rep on high straps resistance, i often unconsciously squint my eyes and i made all sorts of facial movements)

2. Some of the Pilates reformer movements will raise your heart beats, including movements where my feed are up on the air with straps. Yes? or NO NO??

3. I am wearing dental braces and will soon need a check up. Open wide mouth position push back your nose a bit. Is it safe?

4. I know that stiff lips sensation is still normal now. Today i am experiencing weird feeling of super tight/ stiff sensation at the centre of my nose around the tip area. Not painful , just weird pulsating stiffness . What's going on? is it part of healing ?

thaaaankkssss.....
xoxo

Many people on PF have gone there before. Just don't tell them what clinics you are going to. Otherwise, they will definitely try to get consultant fees. But if you don't care about that, they are pretty helpful. They even offer to drop you off at the various clinics and translate for you.
