K Couture's guide to seoul plastic surgery

Recommended Posts

thanks k couture once again for your wise opinion
I told my friend what you said and she is looking to get it done in Asia now. she wonders if anyone knows of good clinics in Japan? she said she prefers Japan to Korea as she has heard of many botched jobs in Korea.
I know there are good and bad clinics & doctors in Korea... but the friend says Japan is overall safer. Anyone know if this is true??

What if it is a procedure such as FC that isn't available or common in their country??
I agree though as a whole though..it depends what sort of outcome and style you want and what the surgeons are experienced doing and doing procedures on.

yeah when its a specialized procedure then Korea. I know some african americans undergo zygoma reductions in Korea from reading the forums. Same thing with butt lifts. OMG one of my friends had a butt lift via fat graft in Argentina and it was amazinggggggggg. I asked around in Korea but so far all the clinics have said butt fat graft don't work well and die very easily. However my friend did it in 2012 and its still bootlicious. Must be a difference in technique since the butt lift is a south american speciality.

Hi k couture. I've had rib rhinoplasty for one year now. The skin on my nose tip is thin and a little layer of skin tends to peel. It's kind of reddish color. But I think the redness come on and off, but skin is always peely. Is that normal? I'm not sure if there's a risk of extrusion? Would I be able to kakao message you to send you a picture?

Hi KCouture, was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me.
1) Sometimes I see "mini vline" surgery, is it different from standard vline or just another word?
2) How much will recovery/staying in Korea while recovering cost?
3) Which clinics have in-house translators? I've mostly settled on Regen but I'll still just go around other clinics to browse and for bargaining power, e.g. I can say that another clinic I went to charges less for the same surgery.

Thanks!

yeah kakao me a pic of the red part of your nose. It's not normal for that to happen after rhinoplasty. Would you happen to have any tuto fascia implainted in the region by any chance? Because if so then that might be the reason for the redness, not the peeling tho. Because the tuto fascia increases circulation from time to time.

Ok thanks  I was hoping that's what you mean..you just confused me for a second haha. In Korea, Idk if you have looked at this already or that's what you are talking about..but that procedure is what they call 'hip up surgery' if you search it in Google the clinics that perform it come up, because they only call it that in Korea. I think it would be more the surgeons area in S. America since it is farrrr more popular over there and was established there.

Thank you K for all your info! If I've known this before my first and second surgery I wouldn't have wasted so much money and energy on this unsatisfied nose and bad surgeon.

I'm going to Seoul in June for my 2nd (hopefully last) nose revision. My clinics in mind would be:

1. Dream
2. JW
3. Banobagi

Does anyone know which doctors are specialised in nose, eyes and chin in these clinics? Or if you've had any experience at Banobagi and JW please share!
Also, if anyone is going for surgery in June-July, we can meet up!

if ure issue is scarring and not requiring any revised crease work then use scar dissolving treatments. Kenacort injections and kelocote topical is what I use and it resolves the problem
