  1. Can I ask if you can sleep on your side after surgery? Probably not I guess... But can you ever sleep on your side after facial contouring? Or you have to sleep on your back for the rest of your life? Sounds like a silly question but I'm a side sleeper lolz

  2. Hahahha confused between EverM and TFD. Tks for your reply! ^^

  3. @aaaabbb11 HiHi! I'm considering FC and TFD is one of my choice. My concern however is, Dr Yoon may not produce dramatic results or will be unwilling to do certain procedure that he does not agree with. The B&A on the website are mainly fixing real problems and less for purely aesthetics reasons. Just wanna ask for your opinion on how good do you think Dr Yoon is where purely aesthetics is concerned? I'm kinda afraid he will just send me home lol. All my friends tell me there's actually nothing to get done...

  4. OMG! That's terrible, so sorry that you have to go through all these. Thanks for sharing this with us though. Stay positive K!

  5. Hihi! Wow, you've really been doing your research!

Different clinics give them different names. Personally, I would prefer the long curve method instead of splitting my chin.

I'm also more inclined to the quick zgyoma because I feel it's only my arch that needs fixing. I'm actually quite happy with my frontal (body) cheekbone.

Screws wise I'm thinking titanium. Dissolvable screws are less stable and more expensive. There's not much problem with titanium screws too.

We're delving into the nuts and bolts of surgery, which is definitely not my domain. We can contemplate and debate but ultimately, I think specifics should be left to the real Einstein. Bottomline? Nice results, cheap, symmetry, no infection and no sagging! Huat Ah!

  6. Hey hey! ^^ I do like my side and 45 angle profile. The bridge is augmented nicely and the tip is cute. There's no f-up at all. Oh, very little swelling, very easy recovery, my nose ain't even that stuffed.

But ... there's always a but ... I was being too conservative and didn't opt for alar reduction. So my nose still look bulbous, not much difference from my original. It can be better but I'm satisfied for now. I don't want to end up with multiple corrections only to make things worse. If you're interested, you can see the pics in my blog (signature) or read the thread I started. Cheers!

  7. Hey so glad you're feeling better. Since you're there, can I ask you about facial contouring at View? Are they good too? Sorry gals, please let me digress a little.

  8. Yep, can look for my thread or my blog. Did rhinoplasty 3 months ago, and my reviews are updated. Overall I think ok, but not perfect. Then again, I don't want to get all obsessed about it and do multiple surgeries on my nose.

  9. 7.77mil KWR for these 3 surgeries are really very cheap! Even with discounts, I didn't manage to get this kind of pricing. But yeah... TL is quite known for their poor aftercare ... While going through the forum, I've read some reviews on that.

  10. I did my undereye fillers when I was having rhinoplasty at Banobagi last year. While fat grating is permanent, it's harder to control than fillers especially under the eyes where the skin is thinner and fragile. There's also no telling how much fat can remain after 3-6 months or after 2 years. Having said that, fillers doesn't last forever, perhaps 9 months to max of 2 years depending on what fillers you use. For the eye area, a softer filler is used so I think give and take 6-9 months.

Do let us know how your fat grafting goes. I'm also very interested to do it, but I do have reservations for undereye.

  11. Please keep us updated! There're not many reviews about View and I'm sure a lot of us here are interested.

  12. First of all, any forumer including myself, would not be able to advise you if it's legitimate or not. You have to do your own due deligence and check with the clinic (either call, Line, Whatsapp, etc.)

All I can do is share with you what I had done. If you want to book a surgery date with a certain doctor, you have to pay a deposit. I paid a 10% deposit through overseas bank transfer and not PayPal. I don't know if the clinic can accept PayPal or if it's new payment mode.

My advice to you is check with the clinic directly. If you must, call them up, and make sure you don't get scammed.

  13. Day 90 – The swelling is practically all gone. My nose bridge doesn’t seem to be as prominent as immediately after surgery, or perhaps I’ve gotten used to the new height. I like my side and 45 degree profile and my nose is straighter. My nose tip is more defined now but the sides of my nose still look bulbous from the frontal view. My columella is slightly lengthened but it’s still a little retracted. Perfection is a never-ending and dangerous pursuit which I’m not going to trap myself there.

The results are very subtle and most people, even those close to me could not tell the difference. When I look at my old photos, I have to look very hard for the telltale signs that anything is even done at all. Perhaps this is what modern day plastic surgery is about, to enhance and not to give you something entirely not yours. You’ll know what I mean from my photos before surgery.

  14. She didn't just do Vline, she did zygoma and genioplasty too. I realized that Banonagi always recommend these 3 procedures together. It's quite apparent that she's sponsored, I think. I must say her results are very natural, after surgery, the contour is very smooth. I went with Banobagi and DocfinderKorea last year too for rhinoplasty. The results were also pretty good and natural. So natural that most couldn't tell I have something done. But that's it isn't it? Plastic surgery today is all about subtle enhancement rather than unnatural and obvious results of yesteryears.

  15. He wasn't referring to rhino only surgery at TLPS but the no. Of complaints the clinic received in general. That's only the statistics he gathered and my opinion when I saw the post by the fellow forumer. I would suggest that you do your own through research and you could form an opinion of you own. Cheers!

  16. DFK can suggest a list of clinics for you, but ultimately you have to decide which are the clinics you want to visit and the one to do your surgery. DFK will help you to arrange visits to the clinics of your choice. So if you have anything in mind, just let them know.

  17. I'm also thinking of doing facial contouring end of their year or early next year. I've got mixed recommendations so I'm kinda confused right now. Banobagi, DA, EverM recommended zygoma, Vline and genioplasty. The Face Dental throw out zygoma altogether because one of my concern is a slightly long face.

When I went to Korea for Rhino last year Dec, Shin from KoreaDocFinder told me that TLPS has quite a high complaint rate and I recalled a forumer had a blotched surgery with them and TLPS is not exactly being very helpful.

I'm narrowing my list to DA and The Face Dental. Interesting to hear about Wannabe. Probably will do a bit more research on time.

  18. If you go with DocFinderKorea, you can just tell them your preferred dates for consultation and surgery and they will help you book with Banobagi.

If you have a lot of time in Korea, you can book a date for consultation in advance and decide on your surgery date later when you are in Korea. If you have time, you can also visit other clinics before finally deciding where you want to do your surgery. DocfinderKorea will help you with the visiting. Generally, try to arrange it a couple of weeks to 1 month in advance to make sure you get to see the doctor you want, especially during the peak season.

If you do not have a lot of time in Korea like me (I was only there for 8 days), and you know exactly what you are going to do and which doctor to choose, you can book both the consultation and surgery in advance. Once you book a date for surgery, you have to pay a deposit (I think about 10%, can't remember lol but not a big sum).
