  1. From MVP again? BTW I would not recommend using stored refrigerated fat to top up later as that fat has lower survival and greater chance for side effects like lumps.

Do you know the technical details behind prp vs stem call? I believe with prp they draw your blood and spin/process to extract PRP which is added to the donor fat and injected. I believe stem cells are in bone marrow? But that sounds very invasive to extract stem cells from bone.

  2. You only did one round of fg? Was it prp or stem cell? That's pretty good if you are happy with the result after 1.5 years, I wouldn't worry about the fg at this point. That said you will lose facial fat due to natural aging over time as is this case with everyone, fg or no fg.

  3. I read an article recently that says platelet rich fibrin (PRF) could improve the outcome of fat grafting, note it's based on an animal study. Not sure which Korean clinics are doing PRF now if any.

  4. Thanks for the review! How do we see your photos?

BTW can you please do a review of your lipo at Evita? It's hard to determine where to go for body lipo as there's not enough non-sponsored reviews here on it. I'd love to hear your experience there, why you chose them, your results, did you get compression garments, etc. I'm shocked you were able to get around the day after lipo without major difficulty, it sounds like you may have had mini-lipo?

  5. I'd also try stopping by plastic surgery clinics known for doing body lipo to check out their compression garments. When I see people quoting lipo prices, compression garment is almost always a separate charge (usually around 200k IIRC) and clinics like money so I'm pretty sure they'd sell you one even though you didn't have surgery there.

Any chance you'll be doing a review of how the lipo went and your opinion of the clinic as I can't decide where to go. I'd love to hear your opinion. Good luck with your recovery!

  6. One tip I'd have is for any before/after pics you see, you need to know when they were taken as the photo shown may not be the final result, so don't get to excited if you see some amazing before/after as that effect may only be temporary. After photos taken immediately after surgery or a few weeks or a month later aren't representative of your final result since you won't know fat survival until I think at least 6 months out I believe.

Also it seems like no matter where you go, reups are inevitable as medical science still hasn't mastered the art of fat graft survival.

  7. Are you speaking with lawyers in South Korea? I think that's the only chance you'll have at getting any sort of restitution here as I doubt international lawyer could navigate their court system with such a case.

Also Korea has agency setup for medical disputes, I haven't heard any first hand reports of experiences with them so I don't know how effective they are. You should ask Korean lawyers about it as agreeing to arbitration could remove the ability the sue.

  8. Would you consider doing full liposuction?

  9. There is a Korean government agency, Korean Medical Dispute Mediation And Arbitration Agency, which deals with cases like this making it possible for the patient to get compensation for damages resulting from surgery, not sure how effective they are but it's worth a try: https://www.k-medi.or.kr/eng/index.do

  10. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Is that right you got operated on 1 hour after your initial 10 minute consultation?!

I think some lessons here are to never go with a consultant or doctor's recommendation just because they said you should do it, this isn't like a normal doctor-patient visit where you would trust they diagnosed your illness correctly. This is a cosmetic procedure and their idea of beauty may be very different from yours, plus this is a business so they may be financially motivated to perform a more profitable procedure. Know what your own face needs going in, get your face morphed digitally, and get multiple opinions before you ever think about letting someone operate on your face especially if they are doing something like removing bone. If a doctor says you should do something you never considered, take a few days to sleep on it and again get second opinions, don't just trust they know what they are talking about.

I think the saving grace here is assuming you can address the exposed nerve, jaw and chin implants should correct the damage he did.

  11. @MissOrange recently has been mentioning how fg can cause that separation between the skin and underlying tissue due to the actions of the canula during the fg process as it separates the adhesion between the laers, your experience corroborates that. I'm having second thoughts about getting fg performed now given that and the low survival rate and need for continuous top ups.

  12. If you don't mind me asking, what is the second surgery? Is he well known for performing this procedure? It's strange why he decided not to perform it despite agreeing to it beforehand and why he's seemingly going back on his word to do it at a later date. Given his reluctance and strange behavior, I wouldn't let him perform this surgery on you even if he resumes contact with you and agrees to it, too many warning signs here.
