  1. I ended up getting autologous rib rhino in the US with Dr Toriumi. I like the results of my primary with him so I’m done for the nose.
  2. Thank you!!! Yes I'm all healed now and dying to fix my nose and do other surgeries but i can't travel to Korea atm so it's going to be a while before I can do more surgeries best of luck to you!!
  3. If you read one of my replies above, you'll see that I was still recovering from double jaw surgery and BA haha. My face was literally a balloon and the 2 major surgeries I just had made me easily out of breath. With double jaw surgery I wasn't able to open my mouth for any tubing (when in surgery) for a good 3+ months. So since I can't open mouth to insert any tubing then I couldn't have surgery
  4. Hey yea I've heard about it a lot in chat groups. I think Naturalism is very popular for natural results as their name haha. I personally never considered them because you need to hire a translator yourself. So I worry there may be miscommunication or after surgery I may not be able to communicate with them. But if you can hire a translator then Naturalism is a very locally popular clinic.
  5. Hey, this was in January. I just never ended up posting any reviews. I'm currently not in Korea so looking into rhinoplasty in US and researching doctors here. I did DJS at The Face Dental and BA at Nana in Jan.
  6. Hello, I'm Schadenfreude in Kakaotalk. I've done in-person consultations at 13 clinics (that's all I can remember at the moment. I will update if I remember more) I apologize in advance that I'll be writing short reviews as there are many clinics and I don't want to write essays lol Disclaimer: These are my personal experiences based on my tastes in nose and eyes style which maybe different from yours. The nose style I like is similar to Angelababy's nose (round tip, not short nose, high bridge but in between natural and dolly or dramatic) and I prefer outfold, parallel crease for eyes. I have attached a photo of nose I like. IRON plastic surgery - too pushy, very money oriented. Over caring about me and it started to feel fake. TOPFACE - In person consultation, Dr Shin is knowledgeable. His style exactly matches mine. Addressed my bulbous nose issues and to elongate my eyes. But I saw a girl in the Kakao group had stitch coming out from tip of her nose when she went back home so that's a No No for me. And a friend of mine had her tip shrunk after 2 years althou this could be out of control for Dr. NAMU - my Korean frd recommended me this. But Dr. Min and my style clashes so much. He goes for straight nose that starts from quite a high point between the eyes. You can see BnA on his website. He was against the nose photos I brought for him. He's said to be very experienced with revision noses and advices against Donor Rib Cartilage because he had to do too many revisions from that material. Marble - overcrowded with local and international patients. I didn't know the head doc so they sent me to Dr Lee. He seems young and to go for very natural style especially with my eyes. I already have double eyelid and wanted to go for out fold, parallel crease and he was suggesting to maintain similar to my original eyes. I felt like I wasn't confident in the Dr. Mate - some local patients there. Most known for eyes but not much for nose. Only 1 Dr and he's the only one who speaks English. Dr Chang is a Very detailed person and gave a long time for consultation. Seems like a perfectionist. My sister did her eyes here. Dr took a long time during surgery and maybe that's why my sister's eyes recovery was very slow. Butttt verry affordable. They basically gave us local price. Neat, clean and even eye stitches though and no issues. ITEM - Consultant is very precise. Dr Kim has given consistent eye results based on 3 patients I've met over the past years. He's known for being very natural but 3 patients asked for dramatic and it's the perfect mid natural, dramatic style that I like lol. DR Kim told me the Instagram photos I showed are not real and with many effects. For me to have more realistic expectations but he will of course make me prettier. He told me some methods he'd use for my nose. Overall gave me a very good "vibe" and Dr Kim appears ethical. Not money oriented kind of feeling. Nana - very very expensive lol and Dr didn't stand out very particularly to me. I really like the calm consultant Kylie though. But compared to other Drs and their prices, Nana is wayy over priced so I don't think I like the Dr enough to be worth it. Based on previous patients, Nana's nose styles are a bit short imo View - very professional large clinic (the whole 5 or 7 storey blg was View lol) but didn't make me feel pushy at all. Good impression from consultant. But they didn't let me see Dr Jeong because consultant said my face was too swollen from DJS to have accurate assessment. I went here a week right after DJS. DR Jeong does very dolly, cute curvy nose. Overall View gave me a good impression. Dr Jin Premium Nose - Dr Jin studied in US so his English is haha. He praised my English and I'm also amazed by his lol Very professional. Only does Autologous Rib rhinoplasty. Very very natural results. I think too natural for me and his BnA are too similar. I want a lil more glam. He assessed that my septum is too weak anyways and my nose is too bulbous from DJS so I'd need to use donor rib or autologous rib. And of course he believes autologous rib is better. He charges $10k for a nose (i know, most expensive nose haha) and I think $50 for consultation. Then $30 I think for lung Xray he requires you to do. Wannabe - a ps friend I met while I was in Korea did her nose and eyes here. I'd say Dr Cha's style is a lillll bit more than natural. Compared to Dr Jin, Dr Cha is more my style. However I wanted to raise my nose bridge but he advised against it. And if I want he said he'll add just 1mm bridge lol. Consultant (forgot her name Sky?) is very very nice and friendly. Best vibe among consultants I've met. Like a friend. But she suggests my eyes are originally pretty and not to do any surgeries lol Also 1 girl in Kakao group woke up a bit during surgery and so her lipo was painful. That's a red flag for me so Wannabe is out My friend likes her nose and eye results though and had no issues during surgery. Hanabi - one of my favorite consultations too. Some Japanese patient there when I went for consultation. Dr Chang only specializes in nose and his BnA are totally my style. He gave me good amount of time and suggests to reduce my bulbous nose, columna and add 3-4mm nose bridge. Also said that if I fat graft my forehead, itll even improve my side profile more. This I agree with. He also said I'll have to use donor or autologous cartilage because my nose base structure is broken after DJS. Hanabi charged me $10 for CT scan and $8000 for autologous rib rhinoplasty. So they're a bit expensive too but considering autologous rib, Hanabi price is actually not that bad. However, my friend did her revision nose with autologous rib at Hanabi a couple months ago and she is unsatisfied with how high her tip is. She was going for revision to raise her tip. I haven't met her in person since so idk. But I got a bit worried because Hanabi was my top choice after all in-person consultations. But someone else in the group mentioned her friend did at Hanabi a year ago and her nose looks great. DREAM (the one close to TFD)- used to be popular because they were rumoured to do surgeries on Girls Generation back in the day. However, Dr Kim was so so and price is not very cheap either. Hyundai This was a very random visit for my mole removal but the doctor - I think his name is Dr Min - was very ethical. He could make money out of surgery on my mole but he suggested I just laser it at a skincare clinic. He said he would recommend that if I were his family member. And as I consulted him about my eyes and double eyelids, he suggested to raise my existing double eyelids a little higher and that in out line would look most natural on me. So I felt like he's a kind doc with a natural style. I almost did my eyes here because they gave me a very big discount but my face was so swollen from double jaw surgery, I was afraid it would affect my results so I didn't. Also, most clinics quoted me 5 to 7 mil won which is much higher than many of you here. I think it may be because my primary nose needs a lot of work. But of course, we have to bargain bargain bargain in person. Typically, primary nose would be around 3-5 mil won and you can bargain down from that in-person too. I'd personally go to ITEM (now JT plastic surgery) for eyes and either ITEM or Hanabi for nose. You can find me in Kakao if you have any questions. My ID is hello3San.
  7. Nothing is free.. and do you know most countries now need a visa under new rule, except US and one other country.
  8. I wouldn't say free food. It's 2.1 mil won after all.
  9. I think you need to do more research. You don't know that TFD is a dental clinic and you also don't know you cannot do any Rhinoplasty with 2 jaw. You have to wait 6 months after 2 jaw for the bones to settle and do Rhinoplasty. I strongly suggest you do some googling, reading and research.
  10. Hi, may I know the Dr you're thinking for rhino at DA? I can't go until December because the Korean Embassy here is no longer giving tourist visas.
  11. Hi, I'm Schadenfreude in KakaoTalk. I had double jaw surgery at The Face Dental (TFD) on Jan 28th 2020. A little bit of background on me.. Naturally, I have a very pointy or protruding chin and long face. I have a bit of gummy smile and my bite is off laterally a bit. I already had braces for a year and half and already removed them for a year before this surgery but I have permanent retainers. So so far at 4.5 months post op, I don't need to wear braces again after surgery. FYI usually your nose shape will CHANGE depending on how much you move your upper jaw, after two jaw surgery. So, if keep this in mind, you can ask Dr Lee at TFD to do alar cinch to minimize changes on your nose. Through KakaoTalk, I consulted with multiple clinics and most suggested two jaw surgery for me. Then when I'm certain of doing two jaw, I decided to go to clinics that specilizes just two jaw. So I narrowed down and had face-to-face consultations at EU Dental with Dr Kim and TFD with Dr Lee. EU Dental EU Dental is very professional and had lots of local patients. They seem to be very well known for their vline as well. I was quoted 16 mil won which already includes 40% discount with consent to full face photos and updates following 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. The Face Dental TFD is a dental clinic and Dr Lee is more personable than professional. I ended up going with Dr Lee as he appears to be ethical and care about safety. I was quoted 15 mil won and later I added under chin lipo for 1 mil won. This is usually because there is sagging under chin after major bone surgery. On the day of Surgery The only pain is from needles of IV drops which is very minor. The anesthesiologist then gave me oxygen and started counting for GA. I was out right away. Next thing I know, I woke up with headband on my face and just feeling really really uncomfortable. It was so uncomfortable (no pain) that I regretted doing surgery for like 15 mins? But after 15 mins, it's all smooth ride for me. It keeps getting better everyday. Nurses told me I bled very little and recovered very fast. Dr Lee cut 3mm off my mid face for my gummy smile. Moved my upper jaw forward 5mm. This should lessen my deep nasobial folds he said. Also he did a bit of rotation as I had facial asymmetry. My chin was pointing more to my right and Dr Lee tried to correct that by moving 4mm to left. He didn't give me exact mm for cutting my chin because he said he'd see how much would be relevant during surgery depending on my new location of jaws. He cut 12mm in total off of both sides of my jaws to even out the steps between the cuts of the jaws. Recovery I was hospitalized for 2 days with the 24 hour nurse. The first night, breathing was very difficult as there was still bleeding from the surgery. So I had to call the nurse throughout the night and couldn't sleep well elevated. This is pretty common and I think I was able to sleep better after 1 week. I saw Dr Lee every other day for oral hygiene, for him to check on my progress and LED deswelling sessions. He recommended drinking lots of water and walking as much as I can for faster recovery. I was not able to open my mouth and on liquid diet, drinking through syringe for maybe 5-7 days. I do recover fast so by 7 days I already ate thick soups and cake or bread. By 3-4 weeks, I was already eating everything except really hard food like nuts. Supplements I bought a box of protein drinks from TFD. And I also took Mend Cosmetics (which has bromelain and arnica for deswelling) a cup everyday starting 1-2 weeks post op when I could drink from a cup. In addition I took Vitamin C supplement. Overall, I'm very happy with my results although I wish some small details such as assumetry were more perfect. However, I still think Dr Lee did a great job and won't be going for any revision. My Kakao is hello3San for anyone needing any tips.
  12. Probably. Dr Jin is quite expensive after all. Are you only looking for rib cartilage rhino?
  13. Please let me know if you have done double jaw surgery. I was recommended by most clinics i consulted with online. Thank you!!!!
  14. One more question~ based on online consultations, I've been recommended Double Jaw Surgery but since I am actually fine with chewing and biting now, and just took off my braces a few months ago, I'm planning to do FC instead of Double Jaw to balance out my asymmetry. Has anyone ever done FC to cover up jaw assymetry? If so, please help!! Thank you so much
  15. Hello~ I've never had surgeries before. I'm planning to do Nose, Jaw FC and arm liposuction. Maybe eyes and breast augmentation too. Has anyone done multiple surgeries at once? If so, would you suggest multiple or a few at a time? I will only have 2 weeks' time in Korea for the whole process. Thank you so much!!
  16. I'm planning to do eyes, nose and facial contouring because of jaw assymetry all at once. I'm seriously considering DA. Please let me know your thoughts and if you can, please PM me your before after pictures. Thanks so much!
