Traveling with kids - Any tips for someone getting work done but needing kids to come along?

A friend of mine decided on a clinic and booked an appointment, has everything set up to get her surgery in June.

Trouble is, she intended on traveling alone but her husband will not be able to take time off work and they don't have family to watch their kids. I offered but I would only be available on weekends. She will be in Korea for 12 days. They are 10 and 12. Does anyone have any tips I can relay to her with experience in going to Korea with kids?

I have no experience traveling with kids but a friend of mine does. She has never traveled whilst getting any work done with her kids so that could be a bit different.

I will ask her about tips and such when I talk to her and report back with anything useful for your friend 🙂

One thing I know about Korea is that they are very child-friendly. More than most countries. I would say you can go just about anywhere in Korea and not have to worry unlike in the US. Most issues you would face are for much younger children and seeing as your friend's kids are almost teens, She wouldn't worry too much about traveling with them.

This is correct. You can even mention to the clinic that you have children. Some of them have places where kids can sit and wait with TV they can watch or games they can play. I have heard of clinics even bringing in special items for kids like gaming consoles when they know a parent is going to be in surgery for awhile.
