honeybear0023 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 A friend of mine who I have been talking to about my planned surgery is considering taking a trip with me. She is part Korean but would love to play into her features more and get work done to make her face appear more Korean. She was looking at nose jobs and eye surgeries for the Korean-style aesthetics in the beauty world. Are there any clinics that focus on trends like this? I would imagine there is but for her, it is more of a niche case as she is wanting to look more Korean. 1 Quote
LupinBB81 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I would think most surgeons sway this way considering the bulk of their clients are going to be local. However, if she wants a place that specifically offers Korean-style surgeries for foreigners, Vava PS seems like a clinic she might be interested in. It is more of a specialty clinic than a bone hospital. It is a good idea to research the clinic before deciding though. I have not looked into this one very much but I do know I have seen others recommend it for this style of surgery. 1 Quote
evelaina1 Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Not everyone can get these sorts of surgeries and look good but I would imagine your friend being half Korean is a good candidate. I have seen non-Korean women go for this and it did not look right after and I have read stories of regret online. I am sure which ever Dr. she works with will have an easier time with her facial structure because of what he/she will have to work with. Quote

I have not gone though so I can't say whether or not the information is true. You have to weed through a lot of posts and reviews as with everything else online, some of them are fake. Quote
kpopkelly Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Can I ask why she wants to look more Korean? And in what way? I know of a few clinics that might be a good match for her but I am just curious as to why someone would request such a thing. I think mixed women look beautiful, best of different worlds sort of thing. 1 Quote

I have never heard of someone wanting to look more or less Korean. Most mixed Asian women are happy with how their look, in fact a lot of people find mixed women in general very attractive. Some of the most beautiful actors and models have been mixed. Quote
calmwaters Posted Friday at 01:12 PM Posted Friday at 01:12 PM From what I have seen, Vava focuses more around eyes, nose and lifting with that polished apgujeong aesthetic. It could be what your friend wants. She should start with a consult if that’s what she is after but don't rely on reviews and Instagram type pictures online for results. A lot of stuff can be filtered. Quote
