Any opinions on ITEM CLINIC?

Recommended Posts

i must confess, out of the 10 clinics I have sent emails to, item clinic indeed stands out and clearly distinguishes itself from all the other clinics. how? the personalized email tailored to your wishes and nose. that really shows that they do care about every single patient. also they answer every single question on the same day without hesitation. further, they ask you questions other clinics have never asked me. simply put= THEY CARE!!

side note : all the other clinics i have contacted were also wonderful, fast responding and caring. 100times better than the surgeons we have in the west where you are just a number, have to wait many months for consulting and on top of that pay lots of money for it.

Hi dollhouse. Thanks for coming back to update us on your results. What did ITEM say when you contacted them about your crooked implant, etc.?

They offered me a free revision, and I'm considering it, however I need to ask for more information on their experiences regarding revisions. This will be my third nosejob, so I'm very sensitive about where to do it.

Do people still go to Item? After 5 years from my initial post on page 4 with a very good surgery by Dr Chung/Dr Jung, I’m now looking to get a second eyelid surgery because my eyelid skin is starting to droop a bit due to aging. I don’t know if I should wait another 5 years until the drooping gets worse (it’s minor now) or fix it now while I’m younger. Someone also said to use retin-A a bit on the lids as a temporary fix. Thoughts??

I'm addressing the same issue: beginning signs of droopiness of upper eyelids. I've already determined I can't stand the issue enough to want to do something now rather than wait until my lids are like curtains over my eyes. But researching is tricky because I think there are a few possible ways to address the issue: upper blepharoplasty, DES, forehead lift or brow lift. It makes my head hurt.

I think his Korean spelling name on the site is Dr. Jung but when they write his English name they write Dr. Chung... not sure why! Did you see a Dr Jung on their site? I can only vouch for Dr jung because he did my eyes and I’m extremely happy with them.

What did you decide on? I think I’m starting to get these issues too and I think it’ll get worse as we age. Some say sub brow lift doesn’t make that much of a difference but I’m not sure what is what...

I believe the sub brow is the eyebrow lift, which, from what I read is what you get if you like your existing eyelids and want to improve the sagging. I think the results depend on your condition. It seems like the sutures under your eyebrows would be noticeable, which is a concern. I'm not sure what I will do. I will do face-to-face consultations and hear what are my best options.

Hi ladies, i need help here. I have asymmetrical eyelids and brow with one side droopier than the other with unbalance eyelids which are shown very clearly in pictures and in person even though I had DES done 3 times (DES done twice in 1998 and 2008 with DES + Epicanthoplasty latest) At the time of surgery in 1998 i'm not sure if i have ptosis correction however after consultation with Dr. Chung from Item in person in January 2019, he was convinced that I had it done before and willing to revise it together with lateral and lowering canthoplasty. During the time of consultation, I had also consulted these clinics in person (Grand, ID and Topface) with different recommendations like fixing only one side of the eyes, lowering the existing DES or epicanthoplasty reversal. I was convinced that not all doctors are specialised in doing my case especially when the time of doing DES, I did mine in Singapore (old technique) hence I will need more reference and suggestions from different doctors. So far I have shortlisted these below which I would like to hear any feedback (good and bad experience)

- Hyundai Dr. Hwang
- Cinderella Dr. Jong Pil Chung
- DA
- Wonjin
- MVP
- Marble
- Jewelry

Would you mind linking me to a few of those youtube videos? I can’t find any at all, and the ones I did find are from the Item youtube.
