Hi Koreanface

Yours eyes in the picture look fine and dont seem to require any surgery. Why do you want to do your eyes?

Hi Koreanface

Did you ever do double eyelids for your eyes before? Cos they look kind of "done" from the photo.Lol. But of course photos may not present the true look of someone.

From your photo, frankly i dont think you need any surgery at all. Your eyes look fine and big. Your nose looks fine too and your cheekbones look good for a guy. I dont find that Vline suits everyone and i personally like to see some cheekbones lol. Anyway that's my personal preference. Moreover i feel that Vline seems more suitable for ladies?? Unless you have over-enlarged jaws n would like to "downsize" a bit. Yours look perfectly fine. You should be grateful! Lol :P Not everyone can have that.

You must remember that it doesnt mean after cosmetic surgeries you would look definitely better. Sometimes too much or unnecessary cosmetic surgeries might possibly have a reverse effect. That's my opinion and of course not everyone may agree.

If you would like to do something, i think the only thing is probably to clear up the complexion? That is if you have some blemishes?? Please excuse me if that's not correct cos i just thought it seems a bit so from the photo. Or unless it's the lighting.

Cheers

Oryza I like the size of your folds! I got mine done by dr kwon also.
I wish he would've made mine a bit bigger like yours. I'm almost at my 2 month mark and mine is still slightly asymmetrical. Might go back for revision if it doesn't get better in a few months.

Your right eye (left in the picture) looks good. Can't quite see the inner corner of your left eye... I think there are still a lot of swelling. It will look a lot nicer once the swelling is gone and fold thins out.
It's being a few months already, right?
Hmm, and your right eye is not really tapered eyelid, its kinda between tapered and parallel. I honestly don't think complete parallel would be better than this.

i agree! the folds are actually at a nice height now. ah, two mths is still not at its final stage. Infact, kwon asked me to wait till 6 mth mark before any revision. jilly, he suggested revision but must wait till the 6th mark.

popcorn: during consultation, when he use the metal stick to push my lids up, he actually created a very thin lid, natural if I must say, however I told him I would like my double eyelid to be more defined, i guess that why my lid is higher than most of kwon's patients? I guess thin lids = more natural? well, my fren who did at JK, says her sausage lids stay with her for 3 mths, it was only at the 4th mth mark that it started to thin out... (btw, JK didnt do a very nice job -.-" her lids are like /````\, it looks like a half hexagon. and her lids are still puffy although they already extracted the fats)

Tyler: Yea, kwon's method of "tapered" is parallel, followed by epi, to pull the inner corners inwards to create the tapered effect. According to him, that is the most natural you can get. Yeah I nearing the 4th month mark. there is still retention on the "tapered side"

I will show u guys my eyes today. dun mind the smeared mascara. haha. Btw i put much less eye makeup than before but still look better. So I would say, I did not regret the surgery

Your picture is reversed today, compare to the last one.
I say it looks good, and I said your inner corner is pretty rounded. In all honesty, mine are a little sharp naturally and I intend to keep that way. :P:P

it must be the rear n front camera haha. Yes! its rounded. and it was rounder before surgery. I look like a cartoon! I would have liked it a lil sharper thou :hrmm:

hv u decided on which clinic?

just a note, my lids collapsed by at least half since surgery. so do request higher lids if u would like the height, as I heard at least 70% of my frens who did it, wished they had more height like mine.

Hi rinda. My eyes are after surgery already! it was horrendous before.
Hey jilly, I think sharp corners are the norm haha. I personally felt round corners makes me look more kiddish. Look up fan Bing Bing. I love her eyes. Very sharp inner corner. Before my surgery I even had to use eyeliners to draw the sharp corners. It makes me look more awake.

Hey susaki. How are you? I read on ur thread abt the skin. Has it been better already?

Thanks for this info oryza, I was also planning to ask for higher lids when I go for consultation but I was most worried that if I did then the crease would end up being too high/like sausage lids. I also think your lids are at a good height as they will level down within a few months. Hope they even up soon!
