koreanface
KKim I was told by the 2 clinics that full Vline is a must. Then they suggest augment rhino and also eyelid surgery. My face has large bones and I didnt feel bad about it before. Im now very confusedf. I shall post another picture at the end of this.
koreanface
Hi Babyangel This was what happened. I consulted with a famous clinic and they suggested doing the eye for ptosis because my eyes are not "upturned" but kinda hooded. My nose there is a small 1mm bump but it is only seen on a profile pic so they said my alars are big and suggest augment rhino. However most of all the consultants is really pushing me for cheekbone and jaw v-line surgery. They show me pictures of women with soft nice faces and I do feel self conscious my face is too "hard"? Anyway I would love a tiny skinny face like Brad Pitt but the eyes, cheeks, nose, jaw and chin surgeries all at once seems to be a lot. i shall post my pics for you to see at the end of this thread and hope to get your comments. koreanface
Hello everyone So I spoke to 2 clinics and after talking to the consultants, they are really wanting me to do cheekbone reduction and V-line for jaw and chin reduction. I'm a bit confused because I wanted to do eyes for ptosis and epi. After the consult, they said for me to have the "golden mean" I need to do nose augmentation with alar reduction, eye ptosis, cheek reduction, chin and jaw v-line. I'm a little worried. I didn't know that my face had so many problems! Anyway, we are here to help one another and was wondering if people here think I can benefit from the 6 surgeries? And for those who are curious, my heritage through my grandparents are mainland Chinese so I thank (or blame lol) my grandparents for my features PS Please excuse my "patchy" face as I had an acne peel so my face skin looks really angry lol. jennyjennyl
This is my first post I really wanted to start a thread but my ac was limited, and I really want to share my exp here since I learn a lot here. Sorry for my bad grammar. I have super single eyelid and it looks sharp and angry, however the good thing is the size of my eyes are still normal. But all my friends in highschool have double eyelids and they always look better in photos. So I started using eyelid glue, since eyelid tape doesn't work on my super single eyelid. I glued my eyes for 7 years and I became a pro at that but the negative side is I can't look down, can't do any makeup and swim and I would rather die if I didn't glue my lid before I went out. So I went to study overseas and got a Korean boyfriend, he never knew I was single eyelid for 2 years living with him After I told him I have single eyelid, and planned to do double eyelid surgery, I asked if he can be my translator and do some research for me, but he said this is too common and any hospital is fine and so I just planned to go visit 2 clinic Banobagi and View. I stayed in his place and of course his mum is there as well but my parents don't know since they will go against it. She knew that I came for my eyelid surgery and she recommended me to a very very local clinic, where her friends daughter did her nose and eye which is quite near their home. At first, I still want to have a look into Banobagi and View. But my bf's home is quite far from Gangnam and it is summer so I really don't want to travel for so long. Visiting the clinic Well all the nurses are quite surprised of my visit since my boyfriend and his mum went with me and I am their first foreigner. No one knows how to speak English except the doctor, he knows what I am talking about but he never speak much (my bf said all the doc knows English because they are usually studying in the 3 top uni but they chose to not speak with it). And one thing is they have catalogs of the surgeries and price on the table in the waiting room. During the consultation, what my brain thought was I want do hwe ji (korean ulzzang she has really pretty eyes but they are also done by surgery), but the doctor already said my eyebrow and my eye distance are quite short, he doesn't recommend any open style and it can be only achieved by incision. According to my bf's mum, the doc likes natural style and he knew that my parents not knowing that (am over 18) so the outcome of my eyes are very natural. So far, I like it, it is definitely an improvement, it makes my life easier but I wouldn't say it is what I wanted at first. My lids are still apparent but I am greedy and want to show a bit more when I open which I didn't tell my doc at first. But I think the important thing I learn from this trip is show photos of the kind of eyestyle you want to your doc, listen to his reasons and suggestions and there are also limitation of your own bone structure which can limit what you may want to achieve. For the price ummmm at first I don't know what surgeries I needed to do so I thought i may need to do ptosis, partical incision and suck some eye fat blahblah blah. With the price listed in this forum i prepared around 400mil KRW and the outcome is I just needed to do partial incision and my muscles are fine and the most amazing thing is it cost me less than 100KRW. And for the clinic I am not going to list the name of it, since there are no English speaking staff. I will post my before and after photo when I start a thread so wait for me guys. Now the second surgery I wanted to do is zygoma reduction(wide and uneven quite obvious) Fraxel co2 for acne scar
baicakoloi
I wonder if there is any mistake with the amount of $$ that you said? Just 100krw? Around 100usf for the surgery? And you repare 400mil krm means nearly 400mil usd? Correct me if im wrong
jennyjennyl
yes, I think that is the local price for partial incision 400mil is because I thought I needed to do other eye surgeries such as ptosis correction and foreign price for partial incision is usually 2.2-3mil krw for banobagi so I prepared extra just in case
27fseoul
Does anyone else have deep set eyes here? I have large lid space and I don't like it. I want a more clean and sharp lid that isn't so top heavy? When I smile, I like my eyes this way because then my epocanthal folds are more prominent. I'm debating on getting fat graft to the orbital socket or just getting the epocanthoplasty. My issue though is that it might exacerbate my upper lid look? Anyhow, if anyone else has prominent browbones please chime in. Thanks.
shirleysally
i'm going to korea 10-17th jan, but yet decide which doctor to go to for DES. it seems like is more expensive to get it done in korea compare to taiwan. Anyone heard of euro plastic surgery & dermatology clinic?
