0 Ppp
I used Citymapper and found it to be incredibly useful and easy to use.
0 somedayskiesareblue
for my previous leisure visit to Korea, i used Subway Korea (by Malang) and Kakao Metro. both apps are a breeze to use, and they both state train arrival timings in real time.

0 seanrlp
Definitely a good mapping app, especially if you plan on bringing a pocket wi-fi or use data there, since the walk function on Googlemaps doesn't seem to work there. I used both Kakaomap and Navermap, since specific locations can be tricky to find in an urban setting with multiple-story buildings.
0 gmcnm1920
Kakaomap and Google map is a good combination. Google map is helpful with bus. Google map can't navigate walking but if you can just look at the Map and figure out, it's the most accurate one I think. Kakaomap is for subway. I personally don't like Naver because I can't type English addresses.
1 dancingpear
DeepL is a great alternative to Google Translate. I've found that it tends to translate text in a more natural and idiomatic fashion than Google Translate, even though it also isn't perfect.
1 dancingpear
Super comprehensive list of apps. It's written for people that are travelling or living in Korea, so some of the sections aren't as relevant (e.g. the section on housing or banking).
