It's not surprising the angelababy blogger looks so good in the pics she posts.... she's a model, and they're all professionally styled shoots with expert lighting, the best makeup, hair, photoshop etc etc..!

Did no one notice she hardly has any normal snapshots showing her clearly in natural lighting without that glaring contrast n photoshopped feel?

Plus it's a known fact she's 100% CHINESE.

I've read in some forums that were discussing her alleged plastic surgery before.

People say confirmed nose and chin were done. I think so too!

MISUNDERSTAND? Oh no.... I have been here long enough to know what is going on (you really dun have to be here long to know)... guys.... its fine to air your opinions on such a CASUAL forum but I just feel "too severe for any race" is overly generalising almost too personal a view. Personally, I dont speak for such a sharp tip but that doesnt mean it would be "too severe on any race" OR to condemn it altogether. (or it sounds like it; can you speak for every race, Maskd ?)

IF it is YOUR personal taste, then keep it that way... it might be severe for you, but why tar everyone else with YOUR brush?? I know you don`t mean to be offensive, but just be careful with your words even if its just your opinion and no......... no need for any drama........because this is a PUBLIC forum so be very careful ! Just my 2 cents worth.

Keenose: The pictures are actual photos of Dr. Toriumi's patient, NOT celebrities (two distinct things altogether) HAHA..... why would someone care about celebrities here? I think it is right for Maskd to link the photos back to his website.....I call this respect for someone else.

Stating your opinion with care is important because casual remark like "too sharp for me" is fine, as long as you dont go overboard to represent every RACE. Its funny but I know you didn`t mean nasty. Perhaps you are also finding what you want for your nose.... which I can fully appreciate. Of course this forum is not for everyone to agree with each other, but we try to be tactful and respectful towards each other.... personally i think to get personal is darn silly.

Keep your opinions coming..............

Hello,

Great job on the nose. I think it has enhanced her facial profile. This girl looks more like indonesian really. To begin with she don't really have a strong oriental face and I wouldn't call her euroasian though.

The linking of the image is totally legal and since Dr Toriumi has plasted his name over one of the image he already gave himself credits.

Been reading along some of information posted about Dr Toriumi. I think the reason why this guy charges a bucket is because your getting 2 weeks hospital care according to someone link here: http://www.rhinoplasty4you.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=50181

That doesn't really justify the quality of his work and whether it worth being supervised in a hospital I don't know. It seems a pretty common practice to be dispatch to home or allowed a one night stay after surgery so maybe two weeks is a bit excessive. Doctors usually say there not usually any complications with rhinoplasty and considered relativity safe but as with any surgery there always a risk.

It would be interesting to see an album of befores and after photos to really get the feel of his skills. Dr Toriumi could just be selecting his best works so without really seeing a bigger collection of his work it hard to make a decision.

I personally don't like the idea of having scars on my body so a rib implant can be taken to be used on my nose. The thought of it is scary and I like to think my body as an untouched temple. I think the reason why Dr Toriumi is using rib implant is becuase it won't cause any body infections/rejections and the idea of it use has been around longer than goretex.

Like many I too like the idea of goretex but still having questions about it and still feeling concerned.

I think those pictures Maskd posted is fine. She linked them because a member couldn't see it & a few posts above she showed the link. We're just showing pictures & I think that's allowed & it's done quite often in other forums as well ;)

The Asian girl on Toriumi's website is a nice drastic change, definitely looks better than before but certain angles does have too sharp a nose. I like a sharp defined nose but that's a bit too pointyish for me ;)

Hello,

I think the whole idea of using implants really suck. There always some kind of unknow disadvantage fear over the other. I think the doctors need to step up stem cell regeneration for growing your own cartliage but this new technology is too long to wait sadly.

Oh yeah, the reason I came on here tonight. I got in a bad car accident today. I can't believe it & I'm fine except for bruises everywhere & thank goodness no cuts & my face is fine. (I was sooooo scared about something bad happening to my looks right before surgery, sad but true).

Who the hell slams on their brakes entering onto the highway?? Well, this old grandma did & caused a chain reaction. I hope she is responsible for this because it is going to be insane if it isn't. :cursing:

My life is usually kinda slow paced but lately I've been enduring alot of drama.

Hi, I'm a new member.

I'm Asian. For as long as I can remember I've always hated my front profile. My side profile looks fine. Its simply just too large for my face. The rest of my face and body are perfectly fine but it's my nose that really gets to me. The base is too wide and the bridge is too low. It's weird cause the rest of my family has high noses. And when I put a HUGE smile my nose just takes up my whole face.

I will be having surgery with Dr. Toriumi late this month. I hope everything works out. The reason why I'm going to him is because he uses rib grafts. Rib grafts is the best because the body won't reject compared to silicone and gore-tex. I don't want to get a second rhinoplasty. He is expensive... but hey I only have one face.

Initially I was going to go overseas. But after reviewing the pictures I'm not satisfied. All they do is place a bridge and I don't think that is enough. Moreover, there isn't much information about asian rhinoplasty on the internet.

Important factors for me
  1. Build up bridge
  2. Define tip
  3. Reduce base

Hi there,

Looks like I have someone here who thinks like me... LOL... But seriously I do appreciate your thoughts about going to what might be expensive but be well worth the while post operatively, and you are one lucky soul to be able to go to him so early! (or did you Q way back last year? haha) Believe me, this chap is so highly regarded by his peers alike to be ranked top 5 rhinoplasty specialist in the US - how wrong can one be nevermind the drama (papaya) ...

I would be very interested to keep in touch with you and possibly learn something new from your experience with Dr. Toriumi. I still am of the opinion that there should be more oriental examples of his work that way one can get a better understanding (or appreciation) of his works.

One should always judge the average, never the extremes in life. Just my opinion again:smile:

What race are you btw? Let me assure you that bridge lift, alar base reduction are peanuts, what Dr. Toriumi is GREAT at is TIPLASTY which is really the master of rhinoplasty !! Go ask around if you care ...)

beatwazzle,

Thanks so much!!!!
I knew she was Chinese... but i thought most certainly she had white blood in her... because of her current look. Thanks for correcting me.

I agree.. it's definitely the nose and chin... her chin was kind of weak before. It looks like silicone that she got and tip refinement.

that's the thing about the nose... when you augment it, some people end up looking a little Eurasian. Remember how I said that people like my sister told me that I wasn't necessarily prettier but I looked like I had some white blood in me.... but I definitely don't look like 50% white like the angelababy model. I really don't like that aspect... I mean I was only looking on improving my profile and tip.
After I did it, Caucasians said my brow looked different somehow... nobody said it was my nose... except for Asian people...
oh god... I'm seeing my parents for the first time next week since the surgery... They know about my epi and getting my double eyelid higher... maybe this will throw them off...

OMG, kimosa!!
You have the worst of luck. I hope it'll turn out ok... yikes. I assume your car is totaled? Man, if you got bruises, that is pretty darn bad. :wtf: Hopefully, the insurance companies will come out with something good for you. I feel bad for you... that's gotta suck.

cup_a_char,
Yea... it would be awesome if I could stem cell grow part of a nose bridge bone, and some extra cartilage... haha... that would be perfect.
Oh... we were referring to the Angela_baby not the Toriumi patient as Eurasian... I think I tend to start writing like everyone has been reading EVERYTHING. haha

Ferndalegrad,

umm... I don't think badboy follows this post anymore, but I could be wrong...

summerskin,
GOOD LUCK! I'm sure you'll be fine and prettier. Keep us posted, ok?

Wow.. are these her?

She looks pretty orginally.. just enhanced to look gorgeous.

I think her eyes look bigger. Eyebrows more defined.
Nose more defined.
Chin more pointy.

Very interesting. Thanks for the photos
