caseyjones Posted July 22 Posted July 22 I am hoping I can find an option here for this. I looked into local options and they are too costly or don't offer the results I want. Basically, I had fairly bad hormonal acne for 10 or so years. It happens around my mouth and chin. Now I have dark patches of skin that makes it look like I have a mustache and beard. Anyone I ask says I am being silly and maybe I do notice it more than others but it drives me nuts. I tried creams and serums, nothing has helped. I heard there are options from plastic surgery clinics, things like laser treatment that could actually help. Anyone know about this? Anyone with personal experience? Quote
justzoe Posted Thursday at 01:01 PM Posted Thursday at 01:01 PM That upper11 skin clinic is said to do this. Correcting old acne scars specifically. The issue I had with this clinic was finding up to date information. A lot of things get lost in translation. While it may be a great clinic, I can't say I would recommend them because of this but you can look into it more. Maybe find someone who knows Korean that can help translate some of the stuff? Quote
pinkdaisyz Posted Saturday at 03:15 PM Posted Saturday at 03:15 PM When it comes to Korea, you want to look for places that offer Pico laser and Fractional laser treatments. They also do microneedling as a secondary treatment but you can get that locally and cheaper so I wouldn't worry about that! 1 Quote

I have had this issue with certain clinics too unfortunately. I wonder if reaching out to clinics in cases like this would be worth it. I am sure they have English speakers there, even if not fluent. They want to attract as many people as possible and English is the most universally used language in the world I think. Quote
glowyyy Posted yesterday at 01:51 PM Posted yesterday at 01:51 PM I am in the process of looking for stuff myself, for burn scars and issues like that. I have yet to find a clinic I like. I have contacted a few but it didn't feel right for me. I am making sure I take my time though and being very thorough with my decisions. Quote
