Double Eyelid Surgery, Epi, Lateral - Master Thread

I agree about doing research on your own as well. I actually did some research before I contacted DocFinder and I thought I was set on the clinics, but then I kept finding some negatives. They just made me doubtful and caused me to go back to square 1 so I thought using DocFinder would be a good option based on the reviews I've read. Thanks for your input

Hi peeps, I would like to ask if anyone had encounter same situation as me. I had my non-incisional DES with ptosis correction done on the 7/Mar at JK plastic surgery. I realise my eyes are uneven now. 1 eye is bigger than the other. I had texted my consultant she told me to wait for my eyes to recover fully and it will be even. Can someone tell me if it normal? Thanks.

I drank 2 packets per day. Moving around will help the swelling more. Right after my procedure, I went out for shopping till late night.

wow your eyes are looking great so far! It's absolutely normal for your eyes to be uneven right now because they are still healing. Mind if you share your experience with JK plastic? It is one of the clinics on my list for DES with ptosis correction.

Experience in JK plastic is great. They have several of consultants who can speak mandarin and English. I would say they are dealing with more foreigners and they awarded awards from ministry of health that attracted me to sign up with them. The whole process of DES wasn't long. I was put to sleep for a short while and when they about to finish the stitching they will call you up to open and close eye to make sure that your eyes stitches are balance. And most importantly, I would only feel uncomfortable rather than pain for the 1st day and the next day I would able to shop the whole day. By the way, you want my consultant contact pm me.

Hi Queenny! I just PMed you, but not sure if it went through. I just signed up for PurseForum couple weeks ago so I'm still in process of learning how to use the site -noob status- haha

Will non-incisional method be permanent?

It's temporary. Last for 10 years but it still depends on individual.

Looks really good. Normally one side tends to swell more than the other side!

Surprisingly, I only have slightly bruises or swelling during the first day after the operation, it went down the 2nd day and today, 3rd day the swelling almost gone. Probably due to my athletic activities help ? FYI, I'm a runner, I run 10-15 km everyday and during my stay in Seoul. I walked at least 20-30 km per day. Also, I have no under-eye fat and no saggy skin.

I've been communicated with Wannabe for the last 2 months, and met them on Wednesday, then operation on Friday. It's DES Non Incisional.

I almost chicken out on Friday though, but since payment has been made I have no choice but go for it. So far I love the result, no regrets

When I was there, I only met with Wannabe not others clinic. For me, I try to minimize the choices to avoid making hard decision. But please don't take my words but, probably best if you guys intended for surgery, go for more consulting before choosing the ones suit you best
