For people that have larger ears, ears that stick out from your heard too much, or misshapen ears... Many will turn to Otoplasty to fix these issues.

It is a surgery that is actually used on adults as well as children. I have seen a fair bit of kids getting this done in fact which I was surprised by.

When I was looking into this more, I noticed that a lot of people get their ears corrected when they stick out from the side too much, this seems to be the most common case for the surgery. The ears are moved back to look more uniform with the face. I would imagine this is an easier surgery with less risks considering a lot of kids get this done too, right?

I have one ear that sticks out more than the other. It was from when I was a kid, it got injured and the swelling forced it forward and it never went back on its own. I have always wanted to correct it but never knew this was an option. I am also not sure if this is a popular surgery in Korea or not. Nor what clinics offer this sort of surgery. Most of what I have seen online is about eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, breasts, and other general body work. I did not find much for ears but maybe I was looking in the wrong places?

So I am making this thread cause I want to find out more about this surgery - benefits, risks, costs, and if it can be done in Korea for less.
