I consulted with them last month but decided not to go with them because:

1. Only one style of nose as far as I could tell from the pics, and I didn't personally like the aesthetic
2. Obvious alarplasty scars on the consultants
3. Dr Kim was not that friendly in my opinion...in the end, I just didn't feel comfortable working with him
4. Over inflated prices

definitely! Ya I had like 6 clinics I wanted to check out..luckily I had a friend who hooked me up with a friend of theirs that's a local and did procedures from different places. I gave her the list and she said Item and Wannabe are reputable and popular(for what I want done). The other clinics I picked where too big and not recommended. Item has English speaking doctors which is nice. I've been Kakao talking with a translator from Wannabe and shes from my hometown area so its pretty cool to have someone close to home. But ya I think you've made pretty good choices with the clinics...but ill let you know once I'm there and get a real good feel when I do my face to face!!

I don't know about Izien and Wannabe (sorry ;-; ) but I have heard (from information collected from social media websites like naver and weibo as well as forums, they had information collected and put into a chart, it's on this forum somewhere but I can't find it  Also people have reviewed them on here as well for consults mostly but some surgeries) that:

DAPS, Banobagi and EverM~ are good for facial contouring and other jaw surgeries.

Pitangui~ can be a bit hit and miss! the doctor is quite rude and arrogant apparently. Read the Pitangui thread also, one or two forumers on here had a terrible experience there.

SMPS~ I don't know much personally because no one I have heard of has been to there yet, only thinking. They have, however, been the centre of a number of deceitful posts though, with a couple of their staff posing as people who have had surgery there and were promoting the clinic and their results. (Be really careful~)

Wannabe is new to me but I think it looks good, I have been watching the videos on their YouTube channel cause they are really informative. Btw what surgeries were you thinking if getting?

Hope you have a nice day~

Hi

I'm sorry there are so many clinics in Seoul. She didnt mention too much or talk down other clinics. Turns out she is a consultant for many clinics. She was a friend helping me out and she consulted me at her clinic which I didn't end up choosing because the didn't have an English translator but I told her her I was visiting Item and wannabe. She said wannabe is good for eyes and nose. And item didn't really have a good nose specialist. She gave me the prices of her clinic and she said that these are the prices you should receive more or less so I used it as guideline. I check out item after. There was a translator and 3 other girls standing in the office during my consult. I saw two doctors one for eyes and nose. And they were in and out. As for prices, it was almost 50% more than what my friend quoted me. So I felt that they were trying to rip me off which I didn't like personally. They also tried to suggest more surgeries, but honestly I think the translator was trying to make a fat cut and even when she tried to lower the price, it was still way overthe General prices I was given. I ended up going to wannabe ps. In my experience they were really detailed during consultant. They told me why and how doing this surgery would benifit me. The doctors I saw were really nice and they took their time. Also for me they did a ct scan before i saw the docs, which really helped during the consultant. When it came down to pricing, it was on point and better which I couldn't complain.

There's a thread on wannabe, Im not sure what surgeries you have In mind but someone posted that they are having a promotion on some procedures. I can't read korean or Chinese but check it out!!!

Thanks for your input, TaRaUnnie & chrisinkorea88!

Yah I've been browsing the other threads too and that was how I was able to narrow down on my shortlist. I'm looking to get mandible reduction surgery (no V-line). It's really hard to pick a clinic based on just email consultations :sweatdrop:
