I had my surgeries at DA but my results are terrible too! Please be careful this forum is full of people who are promoting clinics. It's sad! zinc Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 @pikapikachu : I saw your post before it got deleted and I have to say I went through pretty much the same thing as you, and I went through docfinder as well and had primary des with dr lee at bano. It's also uneven and looks terrible. I have epis and laterals that look worse than before and I think my ptosis even got worse on one eye.. Sigh. Im wondering why your post got deleted.. Honestly I'm really angry Docfinderkorea just anyhow introduced clinics to his clients because Banobagi paid him higher commission! Miyake & her friend, Sunnydahye recently had surgeries there and I must say the after Sunny look really pretty. I guess I have to consider other clinics then.. I never considered Docfinderkoc as I read somewhere that the final price you pay will include their commission & their "services" (fetching you to & from airport, bringing you around to shop/eat, checking on you after surgery etc), therefore, you will definitely pay a higher price as compared to someone who walks-in & schedule surgery with Banobagi themselves. From my research, they recommend Banobagi, Regen (both with mixed reviews) and Izien (1 review from ponyonhighstreet). Docfinderkorea claimed to be "free" but his commission is totally a ripped off. And now whenever he said to check something for me, he never gets back. Two of my friend had her eyes and nose be done by Banobagi, so she recommended me. I also was told that Dr. Lee is specialist for eyes. I even saw his big profile on the wall that says about his eyes surgery performance experience. Hummmm, I hope you will get better soon. Maybe just wait for swollen to be subside more?? Sorry to hear about your experience @pikapikachu I'm in the midst of using docfinder's service and this post really make me think twice. So far he has been helpful and attentive to my questions though. He is also recommending Banobagi and Regen to me. The price he quote me for des/epi/lateral in both clinics weren't that high either (considering he's paid by commission) thats why im still contemplating whether to use his service or not. @pikapikachu did the price he quote you before consultation varies alot more compared to the final price? He quoted me 16.5 million krw for facial contour and 5.5 million krw for eyelid revision, I don't know how the hell it added up to 28 million krw, since he was not there when I made payment so I didn't ask, I thought as long as the results turns out good, I won't care spending more. But well, it turns out like that. I'm not saying that he's service is bad, he did took care of me during my stay, he was nice and polite too. For people who are afraid of going alone, Docfinerkorea is a good option to consider. (Of course if you don't mind to be ripped off. I know two more girls who went through his service and got ripped off ALOT, the prices are UNBELIEVABLY HIGH) I'm just sharing my experience, I have to be honest that not everything he promised turned out to be true. He promised to be there when I had my surgery to make sure the clinic won't switch doctor, NO HE WASNT THERE DURING BOTH OF MY SURGERIES. I made the wrong decision only based on what the bloggers advertised. They are bloggers, they only write good things for their sponsors, and their sponsors will be more attentive to them because they want them to write good things. I'm just a normal person, I paid everything on my own, I don't gain anything from writing review so I shared all these only based on what I've been through. My surgeries were done by Dr. Chang- Hyeon Oh. I am into my 3rd week of post op now and still swelling particularly on the cheeks area. If i had only chanced upon this thread earlier I would have bargained more too. I would have to also say that docfinderkorea did not help to negotiate the price down for me either, in fact I had to negotiate myself, the original price they quote me was KRW19mil. I scaled it down to KRW16mil for these 3 surgeries. Could the prices differ due to different surgeons? Based on my research Dr Oh seems to be one of the most experienced and the better doctor there so I thought it was reasonable enough. May I ask who did the surgeries for yall? Although I am still swelling a lot on the cheeks it is very apparent that my face is a lot smaller in my opinion than before. Hope I dont get much sagging :cry: And cause I swelled more on the left side of my face they kept reassuring me that it is normal cause swelling is not even. Did ya'll encounter the same problem? My left side is still bigger than my right due to the swelling. But the disparity has alr gone down by quite a fair bit. So for you girls out there who are going ahead with any surgeries, I advise yall to research on the market price for that particular clinic so that you dont get ripped off.
